Safety in the workplace is central to our business values. Our resolution is for a workplace free from hazards and free from harm.
We provide training for our staff to identify and maintain safe workplaces and habits.
Our Occupational Health and Safety Management System is based on the Australian Standard AS/NZ 4801 – 2000 to consolidate, improve and effectively manage safety.

A risk management system covers activities to facilitate a safer environment.
An element of the system is document identification, retention and control procedures to ensure accuracy and currency
Our Supervisors and Branch Managers have been trained in incident investigation methods and reporting.
All incidents are investigated as soon as is practicable. Incidents are further investigated by senior staff and subject to a thorough process including root cause analysis.
Corrective and preventative measures are put into place. Results of our investigations can be made available
All contractors engaged by the Stoddart Group are familiarised with our standards.
They are required to provide proof of public liability insurance, workers compensation insurance and accident sickness cover. We also require evidence of completion of Construction General Induction course
Our supervisors are experienced tradesmen who are formally trained and competent in proper safety procedures in the construction industry.
